InstaGroup was founded in 1980 in response to an increasing public
awareness of the need to conserve heat and energy, both to protect the
environment and reduce consumption of the world's resources.
The company concentrated its initial efforts on the installation of
cavity wall and loft insulation through its contracting division InstaFoam
and Fibre Limited.
Recognising the importance of a consistent supply of top quality materials,
InstaGroup launched its own brand of insulation products, InstaFibre,
in 1983 and supplies to a network of over 80 approved contractors nationally.
InstaGroup's growing reputation for providing quality and service through
its insulation divisions resulted in the diversification into the roof
tiling industry with the creation of Insta Roofing Services Limited, which
began trading in 1984.
The latest in the Insta range of products, InstaCoustic patented acoustic
systems were developed in response to the growing problem of noise pollution.
InstaGroup recognises that behind every successful company is a dedicated

InstaFibre - Insulation Products and Services
InstaFibre is a range of products comprising a blown cavity wall and roof
insulation system, and loft insulation quilt in a range of thickness for
both domestic and commercial applications. The range is available throughout
the UK and Ireland from a network of Approved InstaFibre Installers,
all professional, well-established companies who have chosen the brand for
its quality, consistency of supply, and for the technical and commercial
support give by the Insta Group. All Installers are also approved by the
British Board of Agrément in the UK and the Irish Agrément Board in
Southern Ireland.
InstaFoam and Fibre Limited
InstaFibre's own Insulation Contracting Service, InstaFoam and Fibre Limited
is one of the largest Insulation companies in central Southern England and has
been in operation for over two decades. Having built a reputation for quality
and reliability with major developers and local authorities, it is now providing
insulation and draught proofing services for Government's and Energy Companies'
grant schemes.
The InstaFibre Consortium
The Consortium of InstaFibre Installers came into being to provide a streamlined
and efficient service to Grant Management Agencies and Energy Suppliers. Formed
from the national network of InstaFibre Approved Installers, the Consortium
offers a truly national contracting service through a single point of contact.
All companies in the Consortium are linked to Insta's head office through InstaLink,
an electronic information distribution system.
InstaCoustic Limited - Sound Insulation Systems
A patented range of high-performance acoustic systems for floors, walls and ceilings.
InstaCoustic products are used by many of the UK's main construction companies, Housing
Associations and Local Authorities, for both new build and refurbishments. InstaCoustic
Limited is a founder member of PASM (Propriety Acoustic System Manufacturers) and has
an ongoing development programme to meet the increasing and exacting requirements in
this field.
Insta Sports Floors
The Insta Sports Floor is a high performance system providing an energy-absorbing sub-floor
designed to meet the requirements of sports halls, dance studios and indoor arenas. A
patented cradle and batten system based on the Acoustic floor undercarriage, it is
installed using laser levelling equipment, and can be used in combination with proprietary
sports surfaces such as sports vinyls and hardwoods.
Insta Roofing Services Limited
Established in the early 1980's, Insta Roofing Services provide a supply and fix service
for tiling, slating and associated leadwork. Site supervision, workforce training and
close liaison with site agents and surveyors result in professional, trouble free service.
Insta Roofing Services is one of the major roofing companies operating in central Southern
England and the Thames Valley.
