About InstaGroup

InstaGroup was founded in 1980 in response to an increasing public awareness of the need to conserve heat and energy, both to protect the environment and to reduce consumption of the world's resources. The company concentrated its initial efforts on the installation of cavity wall and loft insulation through its contracting division, InstaFoam and Fibre Limited.

Recognising the importance of a consistent supply of top quality materials, InstaGroup launched its own brand of insulation products in 1983. Under the InstaFibre name, this is supplied to a nationwide network of over 80 approved contractors. In 2010, this nationwide consortium was rebranded as The Snug Network, which has grown to become the UK's leading network of specialist insulation installers.

InstaGroup's growing reputation for providing quality and service through its thermal insulation divisions resulted in the diversification into acoustic insulation systems. InstaCoustic Limited was formed to provide patented acoustic floor, wall and ceiling systems, which were developed in response to the growing problem of noise pollution. InstaCoustic has become one of the leading providers of high performance acoustic systems in the UK.

In 2010 the InstaFloor division was established following the development of new ranges of rubber crumb backed carpet tiles and underlays with a unique Peel & Stick system. Both ranges are manufactured under license in South Africa where InstaFloor SA (Pty) Ltd was set up to oversee local sales and international distribution of the products. InstaFloor also handles the sales and installation of the InstaSport sub-floor systems for all indoor sports, dance and leisure activities.

InstaFoam & Fibre Limited - Contracting Services

InstaFibre's own Insulation Contracting Service, InstaFoam and Fibre Limited, is one of the largest insulation companies in central Southern England and has been in operation for over three decades. Having built a reputation for quality and reliability with major developers and local authorities, it is now providing insulation and draught proofing services for Government and Energy Companies' grant schemes. It also undertakes the installation of solar PV panels and other microgeneration systems.

InstaFibre - Energy Efficiency Products and Services

The InstaFibre distribution division supplies a variety of insulation products comprising a range of blown mineral wool and polystyrene bead cavity wall insulation systems, loft insulation quilts for domestic and commercial applications and InstaLine and InstaClad for both the internal and external insulation of 'hard to treat' homes. It also supplies a range of renewable energy microgeneration options including solar PV panels, air and ground source heat pumps and biomass systems. These energy saving products are available throughout the UK and Ireland from our network of Approved InstaFibre Installers. All well-established companies, they have chosen the brand for its quality, consistency of supply and the technical and commercial support given by the InstaGroup. All Installers are also approved by the British Board of Agrément in the UK and the Irish Agrément Board in the Republic of Ireland.

InstaFoam - Bio-Renewable Spray Solutions

InstaFoam is a range of bio-renewable spray foams ideal for insulating commercial buildings, under floors and other hard to reach areas. Our spray foams are water blown and contain no CFC's, HCFC's or urea. The InstaFoam range has both open cell and closed cell foam products so we can provide you with the most appropriate solution.

InstaClad - External Solid Wall Solutions

InstaClad is a range of external solid wall insulation including InstaClad Aerogel Super Slim, the most effective insulant in the market. The InstaClad range enables you to build a tailored solution, with the right product for each area. This ensures in the most cost effective and practicable solution to your property.

InstaLine - Internal Solid Wall Solutions

InstaLine is our range of internal solid wall insulation. Based along similar lines to the InstaClad system, each product has a different thickness which enables a genuinely bespoke solution.

InstaLine & InstaClad Hybrid Solution

The InstaLine and InstaClad ranges can be used in combination to give you the best result using both internal and external insulation.

The Snug Network - Nationwide Approved Installers

The Consortium of InstaFibre Approved Installers, established in 2000 to provide a streamlined and efficient service to Grant Management Agencies and Energy Suppliers, became the Snug Network in 2010. This group of independent companies, with their specially trained local employees, offers a truly national contracting service through a single point of contact. All companies in the Snug Network are linked to Insta's head office through InstaLink, an electronic information distribution system.

InstaCoustic Limited - Acoustic Insulation Systems

InstaCoustic has developed a patented range of high performance and environmentally friendly acoustic systems for floors, walls and ceilings. InstaCoustic's innovative products utilise recycled rubber crumb and sustainably sourced timber and are used by many of the UK's major construction companies, housing associations and local authorities, for new build, refurbishment and change of use projects. A market leader in the development of outstanding acoustic solutions, InstaCoustic Limited is a founder member of PASM (Propriety Acoustic System Manufacturers) and has an ongoing development programme to meet the increasing and exacting requirements in this field.

InstaFloor - Innovative Flooring Solutions

A specialist flooring provider, InstaFloor offers a unique range of environmentally friendly underlays, incorporating a novel, time and money saving Peel & Stick system, suitable for use under most carpet, wood and sheet flooring applications. It also has a large selection of durable, rubber crumb backed carpet tiles, which provide exceptional cushioning and underfoot comfort and superior acoustic properties.

InstaSport's versatile, high performance, impact energy absorbing sub-floor systems create quality resilient floors for all indoor sports, dance and leisure activities and can be used in combination with proprietary sports surfaces such as sports vinyls, hardwoods and bamboo.
