Local Authorities

InstaGroup supports Local Authorities to tackle fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions.

We support Council-backed energy efficiency projects and are currently delivering on the Government’s Warm Homes Plan. We are an end-to-end provider: we offer scheme and project management, have an extensive installer network, have our own PAS services.

InstaGroup has a dedicated retrofit coordination service. Our streamlined service includes qualified Retrofit Coordinators and Designers who can sign off designs, installations and drive quality through funding schemes.

We are also a materials system designer, providing top-quality renewable technology and materials that installers love to use, and can support with funding.

Together we can implement effective energy saving schemes that will support whole communities and improve quality of life for thousands of residents.

How can InstaGroup support your funding requirements?

  • Housing Stock Analysis
    We can provide retrofit assesments over a mixture of housing stock to provide sufficient data to model and form the basis of a bid.
  • PAS Services
    Once we've successfully placed a bid for you, we can deliver PAS services including Retrofit assesments, design, co-ordination and lodgement.
  • We install
    We install solar and insulation measures, including ventilation works for PAS compliance, using InstaGroup products backed by our UK-based technical team.

Our network

We have top notch in-house installers but, as a sustainable firm, we don’t want to increase emissions by sending our engineers across the country.  InstaGroup has a network of reputable installers across the UK so can source and manage industry approved contractors that are based close to your communities. This helps ensure good local knowledge, lower emissions per job and improves the local economy.

Wherever we can, we will select companies that are based within the Local Authority areas we’re working in.

Funding

We work closely with major Energy Companies to achieve their carbon reduction obligations. We can use funding sources from programmes like the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) to support a whole range of Local Authority schemes.

We work with Energy Companies and community organisations to provide specific funding sources for area-based initiatives that provide better subsidy rates and additional support for householders.
