What happens at a loft installation?

Energy assessment

If you already have Loft insulation installed it’s worth checking it meets today’s recommended standards with a no-obligation home energy assessment. We often find existing insulation is not deep enough to be fully effective. The recommended minimum depth is 270mm, so if your loft or roof space was insulated a few years ago your home may need a top up. Our surveyor can check this when they measure the loft dimensions.
Loft insulation fitted

We don’t just measure up and roll down the insulation: we offer solutions to make sure your insulation works at its best. This could include draught-proofing areas where we spot a ‘cold’ issue, checking any pipes or tanks that need insulating and adding vents for essential airflow. We can even include loft boards with your installation. The boarding is fixed onto the joists above the insulation material to avoid flattening the fibres, so it stays effective. Installation can be as quick as 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the loft or roof space.
