Solar and Renewable Energy: Funding made simple

Renewable energy funding is a big deal for our customers, so we’ve made it a big deal for us, too. We know you’ve got enough on your plate without chasing the latest updates or digging for the right info. That’s our job, and we’re happy to do the legwork.

Unlock 45% extra ECO4 funding when you install solar with us. Our solar panels are awarded Ofgem Innovation Status.

This is your opportunity to deliver cutting-edge technology and added value to your customers – while gaining access to increased support.

Our solar system combines Tigo Optimisers and a Tigo CCA device that boost performance by minimising energy loss from shading and module mismatch, and help to reduce panel degradation losses. This ensures maximum energy output in real-world conditions; giving your customers a smarter, more efficient system.

Every installation comes with a 25-year extended warranty, covering eligible system components for the long term. We issue a property-specific warranty certificate for each install, offering total transparency and reassurance.

How to qualify for the 45% uplift in ECO4 funding:

  1. Onboard with us as an InstaGroup approved installer
  2. Include all required data and images of the install
  3. Provide the customer with the Tigo app user guide as part of the handover

Once the install is complete, simply contact us at productsupply@instagroup.co.uk to arrange your technical sign-off and receive your official certification.

Is there a government grant for solar panels?

You can get funding which covers Solar Panels under ECO4 for low-income and eligible benefit recipients, but this is more of a whole house approach which looks at the fabric of the building and the heating.  Solar panels can only be installed under ECO4 if the existing heating system is an Electric boiler heating, a wet central heating system, High Heat Retention Storage Heaters, or an Air Source Heat Pump.  If these elements aren’t present, then you can only do solar PV if you also install air source heat pump or high heat retention storage heaters.

  7. Universal Credit (UC)

Can you earn money from solar panels?

Money is made when excess power generated from solar panels is sent back to the grid, after the electrical consumption in the house has been supplied firstly.

How do I get a grant for solar panels?

The customer must qualify for a government-backed scheme like ECO4 or Warm homes: Local Grant, which are primarily for low-income households or those with energy-inefficient home (EPC rating D or lower).
